Even more objectionable was the comments I read! Many of which relished the notion of seeing the image of a woman undergo such actions from a male image.

Unless someone was a total noob who was unaware of their online abilities, Second Life gives far more power to women and much more control over a variety of situations. An avatar in SL would choose the option of receiving abuse for RolePlay. There's not much of that available in Lively.

At least not yet. The good news is...I've been in contact with Mel Guymon (Head of 3D Development at Google) via email. He asked me for advice on the next gen of Lively avatars. Anyway....

After I discovered the YouTube video, I wrote him another email addressing my concern over the avatar interaction problem and expressing my dismay over the video.

Results: The YouTube video was taken down for TOS violations. The Lively team will now take a look at the animations list. I was very pleased by the quick response.

In general, I consider Lively a nice chat room and nothing more, it will never replace SL for me. But it's something I like to use when I want something different.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08122617253800045398noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1256538458408907456.post-64182987655246628822008-07-15T23:30:00.000-07:002008-07-15T23:30:00.000-07:00"To which everyone takes out and wears *the exact ..."To which everyone takes out and wears *the exact same hat*."

lol this actually happened to me.AterNoxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08090362542131785608noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1256538458408907456.post-43536031739534132642008-07-15T23:01:00.000-07:002008-07-15T23:01:00.000-07:00ArminasX, only on Mature sims. But dunno if you ever frequent PG! ;)

Tiessa, I totally agree with you - did blogger learn how to accept trackbacks already? - and like to add 'So sex erodes an experience? Hmmm. How many % of the searches on Google made by the average human are for pr0n (torrents) again?'

But I think I found two reasons why this can be a positive thing! ;)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1256538458408907456.post-2566867528870897312008-07-15T20:21:00.000-07:002008-07-15T20:21:00.000-07:00I think you are allowed to show nipples - Just not...I think you are allowed to show nipples - Just not at SL5B, which is now over.ArminasXhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11246175825405804726noreply@blogger.com
